TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASES
FOR GLOBAL SME SUMMIT 2025
Booking and Payment
1. In this Contract, the following terms are defined as follows: “Event Application Contract (EAC)”: Means the form at the beginning, to be completed by the participant. “Participant”: Means the company, firm or individual entering into the Event Contract, and includes all employees and agents of the Event. “Event Manual Forms”: refers to the forms that participants are required to fill on a specified deadline, 20 days prior to event day. “Government”: Means the government of Switzerland. “Organiser”: Means Global SME Business Hub (GSBH) and Gtour Travel & Events (GTE). “Space”: Means the total Exhibition space, or the stand, booked by the Participant, from the Organiser, as set out in the Application Form.
2. The Participant must make all payments required pursuant to this Event Contract in full, on or before the due date. The Organiser reserves the right to claim damages arising from losses incurred as a result of overdue payments by the Participant.
3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the event venue, without being held liable towards the Participant, in any way, shape or form by providing a 30-day notice period.
4. Visa application forms for the Participant’s employees should be submitted minimum 20 days prior to event day. The Organiser does not guarantee issuance of visa and is not responsible for any costs or delays incurred during the visa-issuing process.
5. The Organiser accepts no liability in respect of the employees or representatives of the Participant visiting Switzerland. The Participant Switzerland beyond the period stated in their visas. The Participant or incurred in relation to the employees or representatives of the Participant, who visit Switzerland.
6. The Participant shall procure adequate health insurance and travel insurance covering (as a minimum) cancellation of trips, loss of luggage, accident, injury, death and repatriation of remains, as well as any other travel risk the Organiser may see fit to include for all employees and agents of the Participant, travelling to Switzerland (Davos).
7. Tickets may be purchased via online through the Organiser’s website www.globalsmesummit.com.
8. Ensure all information on the Ticket and Registration is accurate, particularly contact details.
9. Submission of the Ticket and Registration constitutes an offer to purchase tickets under the Ticket Terms and Conditions. Before concluding the order, the Participant will confirm that you took notice of General Terms and Conditions applicable at the time and agree to them by purchase of the ticket by digital confirmation.
10.The ticket prices on the Global SME Summit websites are inclusive of value-added tax (where applicable). All prices are understood to be in USD.
11.A purchase confirmation from the Organiser signifies acceptance of the offer, making the Ticket Terms and Conditions binding.
12.Payment Methods: Credit Card and Bank Transfer
13.Credit or debit card: Authorise payment at the time of booking.
14.Invoice: The Fee must be paid in full amount upon receipt of the invoice.
15.The Fee includes only Event entry and excludes travel, accommodation, insurance, and other costs.
16. Bookings are non-cancellable by the Participant after confirmation. Refunds are not available.
17. If a Participant or Delegate cannot attend, bookings may be transferred to another colleague/Participant from the same organisation with prior approval. Resale is prohibited.
18. Incorrect Ticket purchase: Participant must contact the Organiser to repurchase the correct ticket or correct number of tickets.
19. Last Minute cancellation: Refunds are not available for cancellations two months prior to the event.
20. Force Majeure: No refunds will be provided for cancellations due uncontrollable events.
21. Particular attention is drawn to the relevant safety standards which must be strictly observed for any Event involving lasers or radioactive materials, or materials which may provide noxious fumes; or any Events making use of or displaying any other material which may harm the safety or health of any person, or cause danger to the same. No such materials may be brought into the Event without the prior, written approval of the Organiser.
22. An Event’s Manual, detailing the Organisers expectations as to the process of setting up and organising the Event, will be issued to the Participant. The Participant agrees to fully comply with the Event’s Manual.
